Delivery & Returns
a Piedi use Royal Mail for all deliveries within the UK and around the world, except for Same Day Delivery requests available in LONDON only whereby an efficient courier service is used. a Piedi may use alternative couriers than Royal Mail for orders of four or more pairs of shoes.
We will aim to dispatch the goods ordered by you as soon as possible after your order has been accepted by us to the postal address you have given in your order. However, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date and your goods may take longer to be dispatched if the goods you have ordered are not in stock at the time of placing your order or they are to be dispatched to an address outside of the UK.
Deliveries outside of the UK may be subject to import taxes and additional charges for which you are solely responsible.
Title of the goods shall pass to you at the time payment for the goods are received by us in full. Risk in any product ordered will pass to you upon dispatch of your order.
Delivery charges are based on the total weight of your order. We offer several delivery options, please the table below for these details.
Europe and International delivery
We are happy to deliver anywhere in the world. Delivery charges are based on the total weight of your order and are based upon the order being delivered within Europe or outside of Europe. If your order is for 4 or more pairs of shoes, the total weight will be greater than 2kg. In this case please contact us via email or telephone so that we can we can offer you the most reasonable quote for delivery. Royal Mail postal charges are very expensive for packages weighing 2kg or more. We will use alternative couriers for such orders.
Orders are sent out via airmail and should ordinarily arrive from seven to ten working days of receipt. See postage and packing charges below for further information.
Any customs or import duties levied once your parcel reaches your country will be the responsibility of the customer. Obviously we have no control over these charges, so unfortunately cannot predict what they will be.

We also offer Same Day Deliveries within London which are currently charged at £25 for up to 3 pairs of sandals. For purchases greater than 3 pairs, the Same Day Delivery charge is £45. Also, these deliveries are postcode dependent and in the case that your postcode implies a higher delivery charge, we will notify you immediately. Orders must be placed by 12pm for Same Day Delivery.
Methods of Payment
We currently accept most debit cards, credit cards and PayPal for all payment transactions. American Express is not accepted at this time. Your card will be charged when your order is ready for dispatch.
Our prices are quoted in pounds Sterling. International orders will be transacted at the exchange rates prevailing at the time of purchase.
We will send you an email upon confirmation of placing an order.
This information will include details of your order, as well as your chosen delivery address. Your goods will then be sent out within 24 hours (excluding weekends) and your card automatically charged. If there will be any delay in delivery, we will notify you by email.
Returns & Exchanges
We do hope you will always be delighted with your purchases from a Piedi. If you are in anyway dissatisfied, you may return or exchange your goods within 14 days of receipt. Before returning any product you must email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org . In the event of faulty goods (see Faulty Goods) we would require detailed explanation for the fault.
Once your email request has been acknowledged by us, please complete the Returns and Exchanges form attached to your Invoice which is always included in every parcel. A Returns Address label is also included with the Invoice which you can attach on to the parcel. Items to be returned for a refund or exchange should be sent to the following address:

We will refund your card used for the full amount of your payment of the returned product, less delivery charges, (unless the goods you received are faulty or not as ordered. See Faulty Goods below).
Please note that a Piedi is not responsible for the return postage. When you return your goods, please obtain proof of postage (available free of charge) as we will not accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
Please allow 7 working days for returns to be processed once they reach us and a further 7 working days for your amount to be refunded on your credit card.
For purchases outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through a Piedi. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.
Please note, due to the varying processing times of individual issuers, card refunds may take up to thirty days to appear in your account.
All items being returned in accordance with this clause must be safely and securely packaged to avoid damage in transit. We shall not accept an item for refund if it has been damaged in transit or otherwise.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we strongly recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. All goods shall remain your responsibility until we receive them.
Policy for Goods Returned
We accept returns providing they are unused, unwashed, in a resalable condition (further details below) and are returned within 14 days of receipt.
Items should be returned new, unused, and with all a Piedi tags where applicable still attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.
All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface before wear. Shoes should be returned in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without boxes or in damaged boxes may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer.
If you would like to exchange any of the items you ordered, please follow the returns instructions above indicating that you would like an exchange.
On the returns slip, please indicate your preference eg different size / style / colour. If the item has a higher price, we will contact you for the balance payment. If the exchange item is lower in price, we will refund you the difference. There is no extra charge for the postage for your first exchange within the UK. Subsequent exchanges on the same order number are chargeable. Non-UK exchanges will be charged for the postage and we will contact you for the payment.
Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.
If you would like to exchange a faulty item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items.
If the item you received is faulty, please contact email@example.com quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have seven working days from receipt of the faulty item to inform us of the fault. You have 30 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us .
If you return an item to us because it is faulty, we will include with your refund the postage that you were charged when purchasing the item, and the postage you paid when returning the item to us provided the items are sent via UK 2nd Class postage (this does not affect your statutory rights).
If you are returning an item because it is unsuitable, we shall only refund the cost of the returned item, and you will be fully liable for the postage paid when returning the item to us and when purchasing the item.
